Today, I will introduce the wifi5 router DR40x9 of wallys. QSDK IPQ4029/IPQ4019 and test MT7915​ support openwrt

In fact, this product is the best-selling product, because many places have not touched wifi6, so wifi5 products are very popular.

DR40x9 is based on Qualcomm IPQ4019 and IPQ4029 chips. Appropriate chips can be selected according to the project requirements. Normally, IPQ4019 is enough to meet the requirements.

The difference between the two chips is that the IPQ4029 is 5M,10M more than the IPQ4019, and everything else is the same.

When the DR7915 is inserted into the DR40X9 board, there are 4 radios that can

work at the same time, and it can be used as a soft router

As we can see, by using this combo,there will be 4 radios working at the same

time,and you can configure each radio into AP or STA mode as you wish.

DR7915 can work on OpenWrt 21.02 version OS directly, no need to install the driver

to support this MTK chipset.

We guess it would be a smart option as well to select #DR7915 for applications which

require Multi-radios,soft router, Mesh,bonding etc...
