Job Description  The evolutionary development in LED opens the door of a new era of digital advertisement, outdoor video display, architecture illumination, and performance stage illumination, etc. If you’re fascinated by the stage effect in 2008 Beijing Olympic opening, this is the team you want to be part of. As part of power team, you have the opportunity to create products for one of the coolest applications.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an emerging TI business unit with high potential. Here, you’ll have the chance to interact directly with various groups of TI including system engineering, design engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and external contractors to own and steer the full product execution from product kick off to Product Launch and feel accomplishment in product launches.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
Plan new projects on IC product development from conceptualization to actual production release
Drive a core project team composed of talented designers, engineers and related individuals towards on-time release of new products.
Own and drive project execution with defined the key milestones and customer requirements.
Manage communication through face-to-face meeting, day-to-day interaction, or teleconferencing in a virtually global workplace.
Pull-in various team as needed and maintain, track and get closure on the action items.
Publish progress reports to the project team and maintain information in a shared web-portal,
Identify the critical risks in the project execution and come-up with mitigation plans to proactively avoid issues.
Provide logistics, identification and facilitation of sales and customer needs.
Manage project progression: staffing, issue resolution, 3rd party dependencies.
Provide internal and external status reporting for the issues getting submitted versus resolved.
Understand the technical details at an adequate level to drive the program and be able to arbitrate technical alignment and suggest right way forward in the best interest of the product.
