3.0A, 40V, 500kHz, Step-Down Converter ZCC2467 DESCRIPTION The ZCC2467 is ahigh frequency step-down switching regulator with integrated internalhigh-side, high voltage power MOSFET. It provides 3.0A output with current modecontrol for fast loop response and easy compensation.The wide 6V to 40V inputrange accommodates a variety of step-down applications, including those inautomotive systems. A 100μA operational quiescent current allows use inbattery-powered applications. High power conversion efficiency over a wide loadrange is achieved by scaling down the switching frequency at light loadcondition to reduce the switching and gate driving losses. The frequencyfoldback prevents inductor current runaway during startup and thermal shutdownprovides reliable, fault tolerant operation. The ZCC2467 is available inthermally enhanced SOIC8 package.
