The RL78/G13 are built around the new RL78 CPU core, which is based on the 78K0R CPU core, and can be applied to all sorts of consumer and industrial applications.

The RL78 Family of microcontrollers (MCUs) combines advanced low power technology, outstanding performance, and the broadest line-up in its class for the most demanding 8- and 16-bit embedded applications.

The RL78 MCUs‘ innovative “Snooze“ mode achieves ultra-low power by allowing ADC operation and serial communication, all while the CPU is turned off. This makes the RL78 MCUs best in class for low power applications.

RL78 RDK评估板

This RDK is an evaluation and demonstration tool for Renesas RL78 low-power microcontrollers. The goal is to provide the user with a powerful debug and demonstration platform targeted at common applications. A set of human/machine interfaces are tightly integrated with the features of the RL78 and the software demonstration programs providing the user with an accessible platform to rapidly evaluate and customize.
